<p>We know how you feel! We are trying to share connections differently than any other website. So think about having a conversation with a friend and for you think of a book they would enjoy. Now think about the book in front of you and remember all of the other great books that jump out at you... Well done, that is all it takes. Once you start sharing you will find it difficult to stop! If you do have difficulties then get in touch and we have some other ideas to get you sharing!

<p><b>What do you mean by ‘Recommendation’?</b></p>

<p>At YourNextRead we only feature books you have told us you have read, enjoyed and recommended for others to read. We believe that people are the best analysers of the immeasurable connections which link great books together. So we thought of a simple way to recommend books - the thumbs up/down button you see in our “map of books”. By clicking on the thumbs up/down buttons you tell YourNextRead and, more importantly, the world that these two books are connected. If you don't like any suggestion you see on the screen, then you can always click on the thumbs down button, though please only do this if you have read both books :D

Please let us know if this does not make sense.</p>
<p><b>What does similar mean?</b></p>

<p>Similar means similar(!). The dictionary definitions are...
<ul>
<li>having a likeness or resemblance, esp. in a general way: two similar houses.</li>

<li>Geometry. (of figures) having the same shape; having corresponding sides proportional and corresponding angles equal: similar triangles.</li>

<li>Mathematics. (of two square matrices) related by means of a similarity transformation.</li>
</ul>

If you can’t guess, YourNextRead is looking for number 1 in this list! However, similar in reality means different  things to different people and we’re not stopping you making recommendations that ‘just feel right’. That is what makes YourNextRead unique. You and your opinion.
