Pre-emptively update any dirty mirror syntax table before searching
src/ChangeLog addition:
2012-09-02 Aidan Kehoe <kehoea@parhasard.net>
* regex.c (re_search_2):
* regex.c (re_match_2):
If the mirror syntax table is dirty, update it before the search,
preventing a malloc() inside the search code, something which
isn't allowed. Thank you Henry Thompson!
tests/ChangeLog addition:
2012-09-02 Aidan Kehoe <kehoea@parhasard.net>
* automated/regexp-tests.el:
Make sure we can search for character ranges successfully when the
syntax table is dirty.

771 | 54 soon indicates a function that should be automatically Unicode-encapsulated, |

771 | 62 skip indicates a function we support manually; only a comment about this |

64 split indicates a function with a split structure (different versions

90 "split-simple" means a structure where the A and W versions are the same
91 size, and the only differences are string pointer arguments. (This does NOT
92 include structures with a pointer to a split-sized structure within them.)
93 This can also refer to a function pointer whose only split arguments are
94 string pointers or split-simple structures.
95 | |
96 "split-sized" means a structure where the A and W versions are different
97 sizes (typically because of an inline string argument), or where there's a
98 pointer to another split-sized structure.
