Support windows-1250 on Unix as well as Windows.
2008-05-07 Aidan Kehoe <kehoea@parhasard.net>
* mule/latin.el (windows-1250): Add the Central European Windows
coding system.
* mule/mule-win32-init.el: Don't use the Windows-specific CP1250
implementation, rely on that in latin.el instead.

883 | |
884 If you do not explicitly specify a coding system, the coding system
885 is determined as follows:
886 | |
887 1. `coding-system-for-read', if non-nil. (This is used by Lisp programs to
888 temporarily set an overriding coding system and should almost never
889 apply here in `find-file'.)
890 2. The result of `insert-file-contents-pre-hook', if non-nil. (This is a
891 complex interface for handling special cases.)
892 3. The matching value for this filename from `file-coding-system-alist',
893 if any. (This lets you specify the coding system to be used for
894 files with particular extensions, names, etc.)
895 4. `buffer-file-coding-system-for-read', if non-nil. (This is the global
896 default -- normally `undecided', so the built-in auto-detection
897 mechanism can do its thing.)
898 5. The coding system 'raw-text.

3364 With a prefix argument, offer to revert from latest auto-save file, if
3365 that is more recent than the visited file.
3366 | |
849 | 3367 This command also refreshes certain special buffers that contain text |
3368 which doesn't come from a file, but reflects some other data base
3369 instead: for example, Dired buffers and buffer-list buffers. This is
3370 implemented by having the modes set `revert-buffer-function'.
428 | 3371 |
3372 When called from Lisp, the first argument is IGNORE-AUTO; only offer
3373 to revert from the auto-save file when this is nil. Note that the
3374 sense of this argument is the reverse of the prefix argument, for the
3375 sake of backward compatibility. IGNORE-AUTO is optional, defaulting
3376 to nil. | |
3377 | |
3378 Optional second argument NOCONFIRM means don't ask for confirmation at
3379 all. | |
3380 | |
3381 Optional third argument PRESERVE-MODES non-nil means don't alter
849 | 3382 the buffer's modes. Otherwise, reinitialize them using `normal-mode'. |
428 | 3383 |
3384 If the value of `revert-buffer-function' is non-nil, it is called to
3385 do all the work for this command. Otherwise, the hooks
3386 `before-revert-hook' and `after-revert-hook' are run at the beginning
3387 and the end, and if `revert-buffer-insert-file-contents-function' is
819 | 3388 non-nil, it is called instead of rereading visited file contents. |
3389 | |
849 | 3390 If the buffer-modified flag is nil, and we are not reverting from an |
3391 auto-save file, then compare the contents of the buffer and the file.
3392 Revert only if they differ."
